On the afternoon of April 23, 2020, the senior high school foreign language group of chengdu foreign language school held the opening session of this semester. The meeting was presided over by gao huan, the group leader of teaching and research, and attended by all the teachers of the high school foreign language group. The meeting focused on four topics: senior high school teaching work plan, multi-level teaching communication in the second year of senior high school, LICW (Living in a Connected World) elective subject report, and director zhang rong's work guidance.

First of all, gao huan, head of the foreign language teaching and research group of the high school, made the work plan for the teaching and research group this semester. It is emphasized that we should strive to ensure the quality of English teaching in senior high schools, do a good job in teaching at the new level, focus on the preparation work for each grade, and encourage teachers to actively participate in the "teaching competition" and "one teacher, one excellent lesson" activities in chengdu.

Next, Mr. Diao weihao and Mr. Dingman from grade two of high school Shared their own feelings and experience in stratified teaching practice for the teachers present. The two teachers pointed out that the changes in teaching focus, teaching methods, teaching process and learning testing methods in stratified teaching can help teachers better guide and help students.

Next, high school teacher wu qiao made the elective subject report. First, she introduced the main content of LICW course, analyzed the international recognition of LICW course and its development status in China for the teachers present, and pointed out that in order to adhere to the concept of "Chinese Heart, Global Mind", the teachers at cheng wai also shoulder the responsibility of cultivating high-end foreign language talents.
